A Jefferson City motorcycle rider involved in a traffic collision Friday evening on Missouri Boulevard was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of his injuries, according to a Jefferson City Police Department news release. Police said 37-year-old Thomas S. Eslahi's injuries were moderate. They did not say whether he was wearing a helmet. The release said Eslahi was westbound on Missouri Boulevard on an Indian Chieftain about 7:49 p.m. when a Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Michele R.
