KMIZ 2022 Jefferson City Walk to End Alzheimer's at Memorial Park JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) This week, ABC 17 News is continuing our 'Living with Alzheimer's' coverage leading up to the Jefferson City Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sunday. The Greater Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association serves 86 counties in Missouri and 10 in Illinois. The organization says it supports over 120,000 people living with Alzheimer's in the area and their caretakers. In 2020, the organization estimated over 319,000 people provided unpaid care to loved ones living with Alzheimer's or other dementias.
