KMIZJefferson City Council meeting on Tuesday June 21 JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) The city council of Jefferson City met Monday night for a work session. During the meeting, the discussion about the pay raise for city employees was once again tabled. Jefferson City Mayor Carrie Tergin says a vote will most likely be taken next week during its regular city council meeting on July 5. The council will discuss whether they want to offer the current bill on the table, the 5 percent raise, or they could choose a different amount to raise pay by.
